Job Responsibilities

• Develop electromechanical designs with computer and sensing systems and integrate them into different platforms.
• Perform requirements gathering, concept generation, detailed design with analysis, verification testing, and cross-functional reviews.
• Work with multidisciplinary project-based teams to explore new opportunities and transfer designs and manufacturing for use in other alternative applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or related engineering field or foreign academic equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Required skills:
• Perform requirements gathering, concept generation, and cross-functional reviews using Jira, confluence, block diagram, and slide show tools (2 years)
• Design, debug, integrate sensors, electronics, computers using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and communication bus decoder tools (2 years)
• Design and build mechanical, electrical, and harness assemblies with computer-aided design tools (2 years)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose software and network issues with Unix operating system tools (1 year)
• Write, test, and deploy software using an integrated development environment and repository management tools (1 year).
• 20% domestic travel; may work remotely; periodic time in the office required; must live within commuting distance of the office.
