B attolyser Systems is looking to recruit a Public Funding Advisor

Battolyser Systems is growing fast. We are scaling up our organization, starting up production in our first factories, and continuing research on the ground breaking Battolyser technology. The financing of these activities is critically important and public funding (i.e. grants and subsidies) is essential. For this, we are looking to expand our fundraising team with a Public Funding Advisor.

As Public Funding Advisor, you are the spider in the web, connecting Battolyser Systems' various projects with funding opportunities. You will work with the Fundraising Team to develop and implement a plan for public financing. This could be about funding the world's first Battolyser gigawatt plant, an R&D grant to accelerate development of the Battolyser product, and a Battolyser hydrogen project. These are projects that are very important to the company's success. As part of the fundraising team, there is the opportunity to expand your activities into a broader role raising funding (equity and debt).

We have a very ambitious growth plan. This means new challenges and opportunity arise at a high speed. Despite the fast changing nature, we have identified specific topics that you will focus on in the next 6-12 months:

• Lead the biggest subsidies and grants applications in The Netherlands and Europe from start to finish. This includes subsidy applications to finance our gigawatt production facility and subsidy applications for Battolyser hydrogen projects together with our customers.
• Set-up and maintain our subsidies and grants portfolio strategy to ensure we don’t miss any opportunity. This also includes future subsidies outside The Netherlands and abroad to support our internationalization

• Create and execute our public communication strategy towards important stakeholders. You maintain and build relationships with Dutch and EU governments and other subsidies and grants organizations.

  This role is an integral part of the Strategy and Growth team. You will work alongside a top-notch, fun team that includes strategy consultants (MBB, 2, 5 & 8 years of experience), data scientists (incl. BCG Gamma), a start-up funding specialist, an M&A advisor and an experienced industrial engineer turned product strategist! The fundraising team is part of the Strategy and Growth team.
