Battolyser Systems is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer
In this role you will be part of the engineering team at the heart of our technology. You are responsible for the electrical systems being applied in our Battolyser products and ensure it operates in a safe and controlled manner. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Select, design, specify, install, and test different types of electrical equipment for the Battolyser products as well as our R&D test set-ups. This includes a.o. bidirectional power supply units, VFD’s, transformers, switch boards, UPS, cable sizing, junction boxes and electrical monitoring systems.
• Develop typical electrical deliverables such as philosophies, single line diagrams, layouts, specifications, datasheets, wiring diagrams etc.
• Engage, establish, and manage relationships with electrical suppliers.
• Provide hands-on (pre-) commissioning and start-up support during fabrication, installation and testing of the Battolyser products.
• Act as Technical Lead or contribute to potential Joint Development Agreements with suppliers and other parties on electrical technology developments including grid codes compliance.
• Good understanding of power quality improvement (power factor, Harmonics etc.) and power system.
• Knowledge of ATEX requirements and certification.
• Experience with battery related functions would be an added advantage.
• NEN 3140 / 3840 certification would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of international codes and standards.
