Job Description
As Staff Firmware Engineer at Artyc, you will be helping us create the firmware that enables our products with a close-knit and mission-driven team. We are looking for passionate and highly skilled individuals to join our team and be part of growing their respective organizations within the company. What you'll do: Guide Artyc’s firmware development across multiple products, including determining priorities and tasks for you and the firmware team Communicate with other engineering leaders and product owners to prioritize projects and determine objectives Develop new firmware for upcoming products and make version updates to existing ones Participate in code-reviews with CTO and other peers Work cross-functionally with mechanical and software engineering counterparts, and collaborate with product, sales, and design teams Manage a firmware team
Role requirements: Can construct power budgets for mobile systems Creation of production firmware in C/C++ Understanding of RTOS fundamentals Background with project management tools such as Asana and Jira Embody Artyc’s mission-driven culture and collaborative environment
Preferred skills: Background with IoT products Previously put together strong electrical engineering teams Have been part of full product lifecycle development
