Job Description
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

As part of our Quality Management Systems team, you will play a key role in developing and defining the software systems that support our AS9100 and FAA certification processes. You will help us achieve airline-like levels of safety while offering urban air transportation at a price accessible to all, setting the bar for the entire advanced air mobility industry.
What You’ll Do
- Functional SME to provide expertise in business process and system analysis implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve and maintain workflows and work instructions for Archer IT systems such as SAP, NetInspect, and Teamcenter.
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) software to ensure robust oversight and effective governance.
- Manage and maintain access control to quality system records and associated documented information to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Implement new systems and procedures as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize business intelligence software to support the development and collection of Quality Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data. Prepare and analyze metric reports in collaboration with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and ensure their alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with functional areas to train, guide, and facilitate training on applicable processes, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Demonstrate the ability to create and deliver presentations to management and professional teams effectively.
What You Need
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and specialized software for Quality and Safety Management.
- Relevant experience with Quality Management Systems in aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven experience in developing real-time dashboards using software such as Microsoft Power BI or Sigma.
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management processes within SAP, with demonstrated competency in system configuration and setup.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Effective communicator with strong oral and written presentation skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- An Associates degree (or higher) in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and FAA conformity compliant Quality Management Systems, including policy deployment, procedure development, and auditing.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $77,400.00 - $85,000.00. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
