Aquabyte is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help continue to build and develop our UI application that enables fish farm's sustainable operations across the world.

This role is based in-person at our Bergen office, providing the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues, engage in hands-on work, and contribute directly to our company’s mission in a dynamic and interactive environment.

Our product

We are currently focused on helping Norwegian salmon farmers better understand their fish populations and make environmentally-sound decisions. Through custom underwater cameras, computer vision, and machine learning we are able to quantify fish weights, detect sea lice infestations, and generate optimal feeding plans in real time. Our product operates at three levels: on-site hardware for image capture, cloud pipelines for data processing, and a user-facing web application. As a result, there are hundreds of moving pieces and no shortage of fascinating challenges across all levels of the stack.

The role

As a Frontend Engineer at Aquabyte, you will be responsible for creating the user interface for our fish farming clients. You'll collaborate closely with the product and UX team in Norway, as well as the engineering team in the U.S., to deliver an outstanding product.
