Job Description

Of course, this won't happen overnight. It needs talented people like you. As a Process Engineer CMO (mf/d) - Technology, you work alongside leading scientists at the forefront of technical innovation. In fact, you manage every aspect of AMSilk industrialization scale-up with selected CMO's. You manage scale-up investment projects with clear objectives in the field of technology development and technology transfer.

  • Ensure that the project planning and execution together with the CMO meet the budget and timeline agreed
  • Coordinate and manage technology and know-how transfer covering all process steps required like dope preparation, spinning, washing, conditioning, drying, winding and finally priming
  • Coordinate and manage trials at the CMO in close contact with the R&D team in order to support the technology transfer and technical adaptations at the CMO
  • Manage the transfer of technology and processes from lab- to pilot- and production lines
  • Ensure a timely completion of such projects via milestones and a proper tracking of the progress
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in mechanical, industrial or process engineering (FH/Uni) or comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and process management facing outside vendors
  • Experience in the wet spinning process of textile fibers
  • Experience in design and engineering specification development using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Experience with quality control processes including root cause analysis and equipment including control plans and inspection/test tooling
  • Knowledge of document control systems (PDM), part number/BOM management and ERP systems is preferable
  • Experience of participation in a product development team from inception to manufacturing launch
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Enjoy teamwork and collaboration
