• Design innovative fiber structure proteins and optimize their genetic sequences to improve their expression
• Perform precise molecular cloning using state-of-the-art methods and transform the expression constructs into suitable host organisms to ensure optimal protein production
• Being responsible for the production of fiber proteins, their purification and the detailed analysis of their fiber formation properties
• Prepare and present your research results to the R&D team to share the progress and findings of your work

• Carefully document all laboratory processes and the results obtained to ensure complete traceability and quality assurance

• You have a Bachelor's degree (EU certificate) in a relevant field such as biotechnology, biochemistry, bioengineering, process engineering, biology, chemistry or chemical engineering
• You have practical experience in molecular and microbiological working methods, including PCR, cloning methods, transformation and protein expression. Initial experience in the purification of insoluble proteins is an advantage
• You have a broad theoretical and practical analytical background and profound knowledge of MS Office
• You are willing to work in the Munich area
