As an E lectrical Engineer on the Vehicle Integration Team you will play a key role in developing Ample’s next generation Vehicle Integration System.
What You'll Do:
- Bring key features to product through the full cycle of design, verification and validation
- Define essential hardware requirements to support across different vehicle platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members internally to bring up new products and update design rapidly
- Collaborate with auto manufacturer partners for system integration and homologation
- Deeply involved in hardware support for mass production and field deployment
What You'll Bring:
- 3-5+ years of industry experience or equivalent
- Minimum of B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Team spirit with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven track on hardware development of embedded system with common communication protocols (e.g. CAN / SPI / I2C / Serial)
- Fundamentals on physics of common analog/digital electrical systems such as sensors and motors
- Rapid prototyping capability
- Desire to work in hands-on environment building electrical systems
Bonus:
- Understanding EMI/EMC best practices
- Experience with production scaling
- Experience with functional safety (ISO26262) or general safety analysis
- Experience with HV battery system
