About the role:

This is a unique role for an ambitious, driven and highly proactive individual who wants to get broad exposure across a range of critical domains in a high-growth, mission-driven start-up. This role will report into our Head of Finance and Operations. As part of this role, you will help:

Build our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) engine:

  • Help us nail-down the most critical metrics to track and build clear processes to ensure we always have the latest data at our finger-tips
  • Work closely with our broader finance team to support our quarterly budgeting process (incl. helping to synthesise inputs and business plans from department heads across the business)
  • Run competitive analysis & market intelligence research to help us better understand how others in our field are progressing & the strategic implications for us
  • Support in preparing Board reports
  • Collaboratively optimise many of our internal processes: Work closely with leaders across the business in adapting out internal processes (e.g. goal setting, talent management, target setting, governance) to ensure they are able to scale seamlessly in-line with rapid company growth
  • Drive new functional and operational development: Be “a true builder”, helping to bring order and routine through newly developed processes and/or novel tech solutions/tools
  • Drive continuous improvement: Help us continually iterate and improve how the company functions – proactively identifying inefficiencies and looking to implement solutions
  • Solve problems across a broad set of domains: Crack tough problems on a super broader range of topics, including RevOps, Contracting, Financial strategy/planning, Fundraising and Internal Governance.

About you :

  • Problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems with a high degree of ownership and pragmatism
  • Analytical nature: Strong ability to solve tough analytical problems in structured ways and to bring data-backed perspectives to inform complex decision making
  • Financial acumen: High degree of comfort with financial statements and broader financial data

Go-getter: Strong ownership mindset with a willingness to get your hands dirty across several critical but challenging topics

  • Effective communicator: Great communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills
