A bit more about the role:

We are seeking a well-versed and skilled PR and Communications Manager to join our Corporate Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic communications, public relations, international media relations, and a solid understanding of public affairs. The day-to-day would entail meeting with regional directors to coordinate upcoming communications, aligning with the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to divide-and-conquer the priorities at hand, and keeping an eye out for the latest news on Allego and EV-related topics. On a broader level, this person would develop and lead the PR strategy and have (or develop) a deep understanding of the EV landscape in order to support our public affairs efforts and counsel colleagues on strategic communications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enact PR and communication strategies to strengthen Allego’s brand position as a (thought) leader in the industry.
• Collaborate with leadership to align PR efforts with overall business objectives.
• Conduct media training for spokespersons and interview prep.
• Establish a working relationship with a PR agency to elevate Allego’s media opportunities.
• Foster and maintain relationships with local and international media outlets, influencers, and other (internal and external) stakeholders.
• Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to increase brand visibility.
• Leverage international experience to navigate and execute PR campaigns across diverse cultural landscapes.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the company and the industry.
• Draft positioning and engage with various PA stakeholders to shape public policy in alignment with company goals and to enable the growth of the EV industry in Europe.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on the efficacy of PR campaigns.
• Safeguard and cultivate the brand of Allego.
