Job Description
About the Job:
The Chief of Staff will be a key force multiplier for the CEO and leadership team, ensuring strategic priorities are executed efficiently while building strong internal systems that support our rapid growth. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, operational expertise, and a passion for climate technology. You will help shape the company's trajectory, facilitate critical decision-making, and improve internal operations to enable seamless scaling.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Execution: Partner with the CEO and CTO to drive company priorities, ensuring high-impact initiatives are executed effectively.
- Operations & Scaling: Optimize internal processes, oversee budgeting, and implement best practices for scaling.
- Leadership Support: Act as a thought partner to the executive team, keeping leadership aligned and focused on key objectives.
- Investor & Board Communications: Support the CEO with investor relations, board materials, and strategic presentations.
- Project & Process Management: Own and improve company-wide processes, ensuring operational efficiency and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across teams, ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs and track company progress against key milestones.
- Grant & Partnership Support: Assist in managing government grants, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
- Culture & Talent Development: Support hiring, onboarding, and fostering an innovative, high-performance team environment.
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, VC/startups, or similar high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and aligning executive teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for climate tech and a mission-driven mindset.
- Experience with financial planning, strategic analysis, or fundraising is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
