Job Description
We are looking for you to join our Business Intelligence team to push 1KOMMA5° towards becoming a truly data-driven organization. 1KOMMA5° is building Germany's largest one-stop-shop for the sale, installation and services related to solar, heat pumps, electricity and charging infrastructure. And they are all connected!
Become a part of our mission and learn more about our Product & Tech team!As a data analytics working student at 1KOMMA5°, you support our teams along the Virtual Assembly Line by delivering data and reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making. You will play a key role in transforming and preparing data, ensuring it is accessible and actionable for stakeholders. In addition to the technical aspects, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze data, derive insights, and support strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building end-to-end data pipelines to ensure overall data availability
- Independently developing dashboards, and reports in Looker
- Performing ad hoc analyses and gathering stakeholder requests to generate actionable insights
- Supporting the development of the Virtual Assembly Line, a strategic instrument for real-time monitoring across our whole value chain
- You are enrolled at a university and contribute 20 hours per week
- You are studying Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable STEM course of studies
- You have experience working with SQL, Python, and ideally Git, as well as handling large datasets, including ingestion, in-warehouse transformations, and data modeling
- You have prior experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- You are an effective communicator, looking forward to much interaction with team members and stakeholders
- You bring a proactive attitude and don't forget to have fun at work
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (both on C1/C2 level)
- You are part of an international, dynamic, and highly motivated team of people who have proven to make things happen
- With your work, you accelerate the "energy transition" and hence have a direct impact on our climate
