Woodard & Curran is offering a unique opportunity to join our southern California teams, which provide high-quality water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering services to municipal clients throughout the region and across the nation. The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth-oriented professional with the ability to manage project teams from the planning, preliminary design, final design, construction phases, start-up, and operations of facilities or infrastructure. You will have staff to mentor and clients to support. Not only will you have engineers to support you, but our integrated electrical, structural, CAD, operations, and SCADA teams will help you deliver an enhanced product. You will be an active participant in our delivery system improvement programs and continuous learning opportunities.

Location: Southern California – Los Angeles or San Diego

Who are we looking for:

You will primarily provide engineering support on drinking water, stormwater, and/or wastewater projects. This position offers the opportunity to direct and collaborate with a team of junior and mid-level staff while providing the ability to consistently work with mid- and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technically focused individual with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water, stormwater, and/or wastewater infrastructure and systems and experienced in engaging with client stakeholders such as operators, superintendents, and public officials to understand how to support their needs. Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to water, wastewater, or stormwater, including master planning, treatment, distribution, collection systems, flood risk mitigation, watershed management, and/or stormwater conveyance. You will lead the technical delivery of multiple projects, must be familiar with local and federal regulations, and be able to support marketing and proposal efforts.
