The Role

The Technical Services Team for Vehicle Manufacturing continuously monitors and manages utility systems ensuring that they meet the process specifications for vehicle production. When there are degradations to these systems that impact safety or production, the team is the first line of defense to make time-critical adjustments. The team is also responsible for continuously designing and implementing strategies/improvements to ensure optimum performance of utility systems, working on energy saving projects and driving reliability initiatives for a continuous OEE improvement.

As a mechanical engineer your scope will comprise a wide variety of machinery: centrifugal chillers, large turbo compressors, cooling tower systems, boilers, pumping systems, large air handling units, extraction systems, centralized vehicle fluids delivery systems are among some of the assets that you will be managing.
