TITLE: Finance Systems Analyst

LOCATION: Bellevue, WA, USA

Finance Systems Analyst

This role will support Finance systems administration, implementation, enhancements while collaborate with cross functional teams where the system touches and integrates with other applications. To be successful in this position, the candidate should have demonstrated experience delivering a variety of projects within the Finance or IT organization (e.g. Concur/Oracle implementations).

Responsibilities

• Establish strong working relationship with Finance, Procurement, PMO, Project Management, IT, Engineering, and key business partners to ensure comprehensive and timely communication of integration projects to all relevant stakeholders

• Responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements; consulting with stakeholders to prioritize, develop, and deploy solutions

• Point of contact for end users with system issues or problems. Responsible to identify, troubleshoot and track systems and process issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational.

• Establish and grant user proper project code access and system roles based on policy, procedure, guidelines. Timely and accurately resolve project codes access challenges for compliance.

• Manage and coordinate aspects of functional solution deliveries, internal projects, and process improvements. (i.e. Oracle API with PowerBI) Ensure deliverables are on time accurately rolled out per user requirements and/or policies.

• Participate in cross-functional teams to provide recommendations on new initiatives or projects. • Document processes flow and standard operating procedures clearly and thoroughly, and train others on the process.

• Organized and detail-oriented, with high degree of accuracy.

• Support quarterly system releases with internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist with identifying, designing, testing, and implementing ERP functionality and improvements Manage “backlog” of projects post ERP implementation and triage priorities with Change Advisory Committee approval

• Experience with translating accounting, project, and procurement requirements into operational processes

• Monitor finance systems service desk tickets, respond immediately to security or usability concern

• Administrate infrastructure, user access, security processes and procedures

• Support the finance automation strategic roadmap for financial systems and processes, including timelines and resources required to delivery

• Continuously evaluate and refine applications and processes to ensure system is efficient, effectively, and scalable

• Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated track record of creating reports from Financial Systems

• Prefer to have data query and report writing capabilities. SQL skillset would be very helpful.

• Minimum six years of experience working as a Financial Systems Administrator or equivalent required

• Experience designing & implementing ERP solutions and modules

• Experience working with enterprise applications (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Concur,) in organizations with government grants and/or government contracts, biopharma, manufacturing industries

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or associated technology field) and/or finance/accounting

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and able to quickly adapt to other Finance and ERP systems

• A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operation and accounting challenge

• Highly organized and detail-oriented; high degree of accuracy

• Capable of quickly comprehending new information and technologies

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills, comfortable working with operations team/non-accounting professionals, deal with complex accounting/project codes/org codes.

• Analytical/problem solving – ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner

• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities

• Must be team oriented, willing to operate within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment

• The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork

• Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day • Travel required: 0-5% TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various agencies of the U.S. Government.

Salary Range Level 9: $91,744 - $137,617

*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
