TITLE: Facilities Administrative Lead

LOCATION: (Bellevue, WA and Everett, WA)

Facilities Administrative Lead

TerraPower is seeking a highly talented and motivated candidate for the position of Facilities Administrative Lead. This position will report to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities and the projects under the department. The position will be a part of the Facilities and Administrative Team. This person will work closely with the Director of Real Estate and Facilities, working toward more independent responsibilities and project management.


• Organize and lead team meetings, including agenda and calendar preparation; take and manage meeting notes and documentation.

• Coordinate team in-service activities and training sessions to support professional development.

• Assist with reviewing and negotiating real estate agreements, budgets, and tracking contract changes.

• Attend multidisciplinary meetings as a team representative, capturing important notes and updates.

• Creating safety message catalog.

• Assist with Corporate projects managed by the Director of Real Estate and Facilities.

o Corporate efforts to utilize clean energy.

o Prepare requirements for corporate service bid processes

• Define and document team workflow processes, promoting efficiency and consistency.

• Reorganize digital files for improved accessibility and maintenance of team documents.

• Maintain a Facility newsletter and other communications to be distributed company-wide, ensuring timely and engaging updates are shared with employees.

• Review and assist with Public Release documents, and Presentation review.

• Assist with Emergency Preparedness team and activities.

Communication and Relationships

• Manage confidential communications.

• Provide as-needed support to TerraPower’s Director of Real Estate and Facilities.

• Be an active part of the administrative team by attending weekly administrative meeting to understand all aspects of TerraPower.

• Foster development of good relationships with key stakeholder and vendors.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Must have 5 years of experience in direct Administrative Support

• Must have proficient skills using the full MS Office Suite.

• Must understand the sensitive nature of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and have good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity.

• Must have the ability to foresee future needs and act proactively.

• Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities.

• Must have proficiency in written communications, including grammatical editing and proof-reading skills.

• Must have interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with all levels within the organization including senior executives and peers.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Must project a positive, collaborative, professional demeanor at all times.

• Exceptional organization and time management skills – able to work independently, to prioritize multiple tasks to meet changing deadlines and requests, while strategically thinking ahead.

• Must be comfortable with reporting and tracking deliverables to manager on a regular and consistent basis.

• Proficient use of SharePoint and Confluence.

• Team player who can assess when to act autonomously and when to coordinate with others or seek leadership input.

• Adaptable, with a high degree of confidence and trust.

• The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly, and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.

Job Functions

• Motor Abilities: Sitting and standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands).

• Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds.

• Repetitive work: Prolonged.

• Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work and ability to perform role in personal protective equipment.

• Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day.

• Travel required: 0-5%

TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various agencies of the U.S. Government. TerraPower must evaluate applicants who are foreign nationals (other than asylees, refugees, or lawful permanent residents) in accordance with U.S. Government export control requirements. To facilitate TerraPower’s export control reviews, you will be asked as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident of the United States. Government export authorization approval times vary. Based on the business needs for a particular position, TerraPower may not consider a foreign national from a country if it is impracticable to obtain timely Government export approval.

Job Details

Salary Range Level 8: $78,253 - $117,379

*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
