We’re building a platform to create implementable decarbonization roadmaps for any industrial value chain. These roadmaps allow our customers to transform their businesses into net-zero organizations. We’re a rapidly growing pre-seed company with a strong customer base.

We’re seeking an action-oriented engineer to accelerate feature deployment (and by extension emissions reductions) to these customers. Don’t know anything about decarbonization yet? That’s ok! If you’re a highly driven Full Stack engineer with 3-5 years of experience and give a $%@! about climate change that’s all you need.

Responsibilities

Lead our platform vision, pushing our technical boundaries to further accelerate decarbonization

Manipulate large volumes of primary sustainability data

Develop and maintain advanced web-applications using Next.js

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and customer success to define and ship new features

Define and improve advanced relational database models to enable speed and scalability

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of software development experience, preferably at a large tech company (Series C or later)

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly React

Familiarity with Python, data modeling, and machine learning is a plus, but not required

Experience ingesting, normalizing, and modeling large quantities of data in any programming language

Solid understanding of good coding practices and patterns

Experience working in a scrappy, fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of code quality and reliability

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and technical concepts to a non-technical audience
