Role Purpose:

Building electrical wiring harnesses in line with our high standards always ensuring customer satisfaction.

Role Attributes

Key Aspects of the role

• Following all procedures and processes to meet day to day requirements of the business as well as quality and health and safety standards and requirements.
• Achieving effective continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
• Actively participating in training activities provided by the company to ensure all high-quality build standards are met and continuously improved.

Technical summary

• Assisting senior technicians and workshop manager in day to day running of the harness workshop.
• Assisting with complex, first time builds and prototypes.
• Picking lineside stock parts required for the assembly.
• Raising all build related issues, deviations and continuous improvement opportunities with your line manager.
• Providing guidance and advice to trainee technicians.
• Keeping high standards of housekeeping with regards to work area, documentation, tools and products.
• Carrying out line inspections.
• Carrying out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time in full.

Health, Safety & Environmental

• Promote Environmental Health & Safety awareness.
• Ensure Environmental Health & Safety policy is always adhered to.
• Adhere to EHS procedures & policies to ensure compliance.
• Identify and comply with all applicable regulations.
• Raise any H&S issues with your Line Manager.

Role Related Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Personal Attributes

Qualifications, Functional Experience & Skills

• Previous experience with OEM or system 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace) MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.
• Cirris or another electrical harness testing software experience DESIRED, NOT MANDATORY.

System or Knowledge

• System 25 or automotive wiring knowledge and experience.

Personal Attributes

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good communication skills.

Other Features of job

• Eligible to work in the UK.
• This role is based at Duncote, Towcester, 37.5 hours per week.
• Travel occasionally.
