Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Test Engineering Intern to join our R&D team working on electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. This internship offers hands-on experience in product validation, test planning, and quality assurance in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused industry. You will support the testing of embedded software, communication protocols, user interfaces, and system-level functionality.
This role provides the opportunity to work closely with EV charging hardware in a lab environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with test engineers to understand product features and testing scope.
- Assist in writing and executing test cases based on product requirements and design documents.
- Learn and apply basic testing tools and techniques.
- Help identify and report product issues during testing and pre-launch phases.
Provide basic onsite technical support to local teams under supervision. Required:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Understanding of software or hardware testing principles.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, or C/C++).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work hands-on with hardware in a lab setting.
Good communication and documentation skills in English. Preferred:
- Experience with test case design and test management tools.
- Familiarity with communication protocols or charging protocols(e.g., CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, DIN70121, ISO 15118, or OCPP protocol).
- Exposure to embedded systems or real-time systems.
Understanding of version control systems like Git. What You’ll Gain:
