Job Description
The SolarAPP Foundation is on a mission to automate the permitting for 650m clean energy equipment installs around the country, accelerating deployment and lowering the cost of the clean energy transition by $1trn. The software, SolarAPP+, is already deployed in almost 200 cities and counties automating the permitting for rooftop solar and energy storage, with plans to expand to electric heat pumps, EV chargers and more. SolarAPP+ has issued over 35,000 permits and is generating ARR of over $1.5m. A spin-out of the Department of Energy, the software was built by engineers volunteered by NREL, SunRun, Tesla and others. The SolarAPP Foundation is looking to hire a founding CEO and CTO, who can build out a great team and scale the product to meet its full potential. Candidates must have experience building great B2B software teams, appreciate the complexities of working with government, have a founder-mentality, and be impact motivated.
