Job Description
Skeleton's Commercial Department is looking for a driven and experienced
Sales Engineer (m/f/x)
to support our Sales Directors throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process by developing tailored technical and commercial solutions for our clients. You will work closely with engineering, product development, and project teams to ensure customer needs are met with optimal energy storage solutions.
Your responsibility areas:
- Collaborate with customers to understand application requirements and develop tailored technical concepts.
- Design and calculate energy storage solutions that deliver measurable energy and cost savings.
- Create technical documentation and value propositions that clearly communicate the economic and environmental benefits of our ultracapacitor-based systems.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, showcasing the solution’s added value from both a technical and business perspective.
- Identify new application areas and business opportunities across various industrial and energy sectors.
- Support the sales team in offer development, tender processes, and technical negotiations.
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members when required.
- Operate independently in your role, managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- A degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy systems, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in technical sales, application engineering, or solution development.
- Understanding of energy storage technologies, power electronics, or related systems (experience with ultracapacitors is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into concrete technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in customer-facing roles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and innovation-driven environment.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
