Battery Scientist (m/f/x)

with the vision to match our ambition!

We are looking for an experienced Battery Scientist (m/f/x) who truly believes that the world needs Special Forces to fight climate change and reduce CO2 emissions! The Battery Scientist (m/f/x) will be based in our Helsinki R&D Lab in the Aalto University KCL Laboratory building.

What you'll do:

• Support study of active materials.
• Laboratory coating.
• Laboratory calendaring.
• EL cell assembly and testing.
• Data analysis.
• Manufacturing and testing of the prototype cells.
• Literature research.

Requirements

You are a great match if you have:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in chemistry or physics.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Finnish; German would be a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail & a sense of responsibility.
  
  Nice to have:
• Previous work experience in the laboratory.
• Experience with batteries or supercapacitors.
