After successfully raising an oversubscribed Series A investment round, our technical team is now growing. We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager who is eager to contribute to building a sustainable future. Your team and your role

We’re looking for someone that can identify and develop new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and growing the company's customer base. Developing and implementing Qflow’s business development strategies, you will help to drive revenue growth and market share.

You’ll be working in our Commercial team, working closely with the Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams and reporting to the VP of Growth. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with the company's growth strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all business development activities. Manage your sales pipeline, tracking each prospect and ensuring your pipeline is updated to allow for accurate forecasting. Execute a multi-channel approach to potential customer outreach. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, utilising a data-driven approach. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Qflow’s product offering meets customer needs & expectations. Act as company presenter at major industry events and conferences. Willingness to travel for customer meetings as required.

Your skills

Experience in working with the construction industry in UK market, either in Business Development, Project Management or similar roles. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder relationships, close deals and secure profitable contracts. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities for growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Bonus Skills & experience:

Experience in utilising formal sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, BANT, Challenger or Miller-Heiman. Proficient in working with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred). Experience in business development or sales within a SaaS organisation, with a focus construction, engineering, sustainability or a related field.
