We are looking for a driven Process Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our bold Mechanical Recycling team based in Västerås and Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up our battery recycling operations and contribute to building the first large-scale European battery recycling facilities.

About the job
You will play an important role in process development by collaborating with outside vendors and internal team members. As a Process Engineer in Mechanical Recycling, you will have knowledge in process and equipment design, equipment handling, operations, and maintenance. You will work towards the optimization of the process steps with respect to product quality and output by evaluating and testing appropriate process changes through the planning and execution of research and experiments. You will also help support the design and installation of new recycling facilities from Concept through Operational Handover.

About the team
You will join a small, energetic team who is focused on getting things done. The team's goal is to examine, test, and ultimately install the mechanical recycling processes needed for lithium batteries. The processes will deal with the recycling of production scrap, completed battery cells, and end of life packs and modules. We are seeking a team player who is curious and eager to learn.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and run experiments, analyze data, and improve the Revolt Recycling processes.
• Support development projects related to basic engineering and process design for new recycling facilities.
• Implementing changes in operational procedures for Continuous Improvement of the process on both pilot and production scale.
