Job Description
Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Senior Factory Layout Engineer to join our diverse and passionate Blueprint/New Factories team.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
The Factory Layout & Modelling Team delivers factory designs created with emphasis on cross-functional compatibility and technical modularity.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing holistically optimized factory designs as an integral part of Northvolt Blueprint Engineering, focused on concept and basic engineering phases.
- Owning a multi-disciplinary design scope, delivering great solutions to highly demanding stakeholders.
- Managing drawings, models and metadata in 2D and 3D CAD-environments
- Developing internal engineering toolboxes, pushing the frontier of modern factory design practices.
We are looking for someone with solid experience from either construction design, production design and/or product design. This role will place you right in the cross-section of all three; leading the strive towards truly great designs by managing all interfaces and aspects of the production facility.
As a person we believe you are self-dependent, ambitious, got a lot of grit and humor with a love for people, technology and a fast-paced work environment.
