You now have the exciting opportunity to join Northvolt as a project controller and help run the finances for Northvolts biggest investment to date. You will be one of the key people managing over USD 2bn of spend and ensuring we get accurate estimates and minimal cost overruns.

The team today consists of both scheduling and cost controlling, it is a team that works hard but we also have a lot of fun together. In this role you will be joining the cost controlling part of the team. We have team members based both in Skellefteå and Stockholm.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The person will be responsible for parts of the overall cost estimate for our factory in Skellefteå. You will support and work closely with the project and finance team and ensure project delivery. You will specifically be working intimately with the program and construction teams.

You have a minimum of 2-3 years working experience, either in business controlling, project controlling or similar area.
Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working in a fast paced international organization with large and complex projects, experience from production controlling is a plus.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• You will work with Project Controlling for the Northvolt Ett project, with a focus on preparing estimates and following up on actual spend for one specific part of the project.
• You will together with the respective block and program managers prepare the monthly cost estimates of the project.
• You will participate in monthly closing of the Northvolt Ett project and business.
• You will assist the overall project team with ad hoc requests and analysis including financial modeling (mainly in excel).
• You will help develop and ensure adherence to our processes.

As Project Controller for Northvotl Ett we prefer if you are based in Skellefteå, but it is possible to be based in Stockholm as well but then with freequent (weekly) travels to Skelelfteå to be expected. You will report to the Senior Project Controller of Northvolt Ett.
