We are looking for a Program Intern to join us bringing Northvolt to Germany. The role is a part of our stellar project team based in Hamburg with an outreach to our planned Gigafactory in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein. By joining us, you will be at the forefront of building up a large scale green energy cluster from scratch, placing Northvolts next Gigafactory in the heart of the German energy transition and contribute to building one of the largest and most sustainable European battery factories.

About the job You support the concept and development of the Gigafactory itself and the surrounding utility infrastructure in Heide, being closely aligned with other industrial projects in the region. You work closely with our factory planning team and execute the project closely collaborating with the authorities and the community. This means working in a highly cross-functional environment and acting as an intrapreneur in a fast-paced environment.

The person we are looking for is an ambitious individual who is passionate about developing skills and knowledge working with technical projects. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, that takes ownership of the tasks on hand and is not afraid to ask questions. The program and Northvolt as an organization values individual talent and autonomy and willingness to go above and beyond. Period of internship is up to 6 months, minimum 3 months required.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the project managers
• Support delivery of project activities within the scope of budget quality and time
• Collect and consolidate project related information
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to drive results towards program goals
• Administrate documentation & activities
• Gain insight into the cell manufacturing industry
