Northvolt has exciting job offers for Formation & Aging / Assembly Process Engineers to join our bold team in Västerås, Sweden.

We are looking for Process Engineers to join the Formation and Aging / Assembly Process teams in the R&D Pilot Plant. The role will require deep knowledge in process design, equipment handling, maintenance planning and control design. We are looking for energetic engineers who have the necessary skills to interface with equipment suppliers and to collaborate with Northvolt's Factory Design Team to develop new methodologies or improve our current Formation & Aging / Assembly processes.

You will play an important role in driving innovative solutions to technical challenges that will lead to improvements in yield, cost, quality or efficiency of the process and relevant experience is desirable.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and issue process designs (Assembly and Formation) as well as providing support to the Production Team.
• Establish process metrics and goals
• Creating, processing, visualising and analysing datasets.
• Data driven planning and execution of process DOEs.
• Implement and support standardised process for industrialisation.
• Investigate and implement plans to apply novel process technologies.
