We at Northvolt Systems is currently looking for our next Business Controller! As a result of Northvolt's recent strategic review, Northvolt System's Industrial business will have a new owner and is on its way to becoming a separate organisation within a new company. In this position, you would be part of this transformation!

About the role

You'd be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as providing decision support, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and collaborating with various departments to align business objectives with financial targets.

About the team

The team is based in Stockholm, and you will work report to the Finance Manager and work closely with our Accountant, supporting the new organization.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• ​​Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business goals
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making and business performance
• Support in preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting standards
• Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and budgets, explaining discrepancies to management
• Develop and implement internal control procedures to maintain accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Collaborate with various departments to align financial objectives with broader business goals
• Support project managers in preparing and reviewing project financials and forecasts
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems​
