You will:

• Support day-to-day EHS operations.
• Support industrial and hazardous waste activities.
• Conduct and document weekly inspections of the central accumulation areas.
• Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous spills are properly addressed and reported.
• Manage satellite accumulation areas daily.
• Verify lineside day containers are properly emptied by operators, ensure proper closure, and labeling.
• Support waste shipment planning, tracking and coordination for multiple waste areas.
• Maintain the inventory of waste management equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Conduct environmental field sampling with instruction from EHS Engineers.
• Be emergency responder to chemical spill and waste incidents and provide a prompt/detailed report-out to manager.
• Must be able to stand for extend periods of time, perform work requiring bending and lifting.
• Ability to work any shift such as rotating shifts and weekends.

You Bring:

• Ability to maintain RCRA hazardous waste and DOT hazardous materials certifications.
• 1-3 years of direct experience with management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Able communicate effectively with leaders, technicians, engineers, contractors, and team.
