Sr. Program Manager Operational Excellence

As a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

You will lead cross-functional teams, analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

Your expertise in lean methodologies, process improvement techniques, and change management will be instrumental in driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

Lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Lean tools throughout the enterprise, including continuous improvement framework (CIF) lean six sigma, value stream mapping, structured problem solving, root cause analysis, 5s+, work instructions, etc.

Evaluate, analyze and improve operations and engineering processes using fundamentally sound manufacturing principles to ensure excellence in safety, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and quality.

Develop and redesign processes for key business functions to drive business goals and objectives, improve process maturity and expand automation wherever possible.

Conduct/lead business process analysis to understand the needs of the organization and translate those needs into clear specifications.

Ensure program processes are simple, executable, and sustainable for future use with manageable rollout plans

Serve as a change agent and drive a continuous business improvement philosophy by helping create a Continuous Improvement Culture across the organization through introduction of simple

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy to drive operational excellence across the organization.
  2. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct data analysis and utilize performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization.
  4. Design and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to develop and execute improvement plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  6. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and develop their problem-solving capabilities.
  7. Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of process improvements.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in the field of continuous improvement, and apply relevant knowledge to drive innovation.
  10. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management, highlighting the impact of continuous improvement initiatives on key performance indicators.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience (7+ years) in process improvement, lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or related fields.

- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Just-in-Time (JIT), and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).

- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor improvement initiatives.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Advanced certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g. Black Belt) is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in process mapping and improvement software tools (e.g., Minitab, Visio, Lean Six Sigma software).

- Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals
