We are currently seeking a Sr. DevOps / Software Build Engineer to be part of the Infotainment Build Team in Seattle, WA. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
Lucid is looking for an experienced DevOps/Software Build engineer. In this role you will:
- Develop automation code to deploy and maintain applications that run and monitor services.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for multi products across Infotainment organization
- Work closely with system developers and participating in the architectural discussions
- Apply the solution to a wide range of compute workloads and services
- Advocate a DevOps culture of automation, self-service, and engineering best practices
- Integrate quality toolchains such as static code analysis tools and automate test coverage report
- Monitor, debug and resolve system integration tests at various pipeline stages
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or software development.
- Effective coding and scripting experience with Python, Java or similar languages.
- Experience with user access, authentication, user permission management and security, LDAP, AD
- Experience with containerization and scheduling, with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed systems implementation
- Experience with auto scaling, performance testing and capacity planning.
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Bazel, Artifactory, Gitlab Automation, Android/ASOP Build (Soong), etc. to build automation, CI/CD, Self-Service pipelines.
- Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems
- Experience with restful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, cloud system (AWS) and micro-services
Preferred:
- Embedded or system software engineering experiences
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$134,000—$168,000 USD
