Job Description

• You will be responsible for preparing the monthly reporting (IFRS) and the annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS) including the management report and you will be the contact person for the annual audits.
• Together with the Finance team and the Shared Service Center, you will ensure the accuracy and regularity of ongoing accounting and support the Shared Service Center with ongoing issues such as receivables management.
• You ensure that internal controls (ICS) are in place and are always adhered to and continuously develop them further.
• You drive the optimization and automation of our accounting processes in SAP S4hana public cloud together with our Shared Service Center and IT team.
• You analyze financial processes (including cross-departmental processes) and identify optimization potential in close coordination with our Shared Service Center and other departments such as Controlling and Procurement.
• You are involved in cross-department projects / topics, develop solutions and accompany their rollout, e.g. CSRD, internationalization of accounting topics.
• You support with transfer pricing topics.
• You have successfully completed a degree in economics with a focus on accounting and auditing or comparable professional experience in accounting, ideally with further degree as an certified accountant (f/m/x)
• You have at least 7 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas in a company with a European environment or in a tax/auditing firm.
• You have a profound knowledge of IFRS and HGB (local GAAP) and ideally have had already contact with US GAAP.
• You have already gained knowledge in the area of transfer pricing
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially MS Excel, as well as knowledge of SAP, especially SAP S4hana public cloud and other tools such as Lucanet are not an issue for you.
• Experience in process optimization and project work in the finance/accounting environment.
• You work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner
• Your strengths include good communication skills and assertiveness.
• You are happy to use your very good knowledge of English in everyday professional life, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of German is an advantage.
