Job Description
As a Strategy Associate, you support INERATEC’s policy and regulatory activities in Germany and across Europe. You actively engage in the work of industry associations, represent INERATEC at conferences and public events, and contribute to public speaking and dialogue with German and European government stakeholders. You help build and maintain expertise on sustainability certification frameworks and monitor regulatory developments relevant to aviation decarbonization, clean fuels, and the broader energy transition. In your role, you work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to translate policy developments into strategic insights for the company.

- Active participation in industry associations and representation of INERATEC at conferences and public events
- Support with public presentations and dialogue with German and European government and administrative representatives
- Building, maintaining, and further developing expertise on sustainability certification systems
- Monitoring and analysis of regulatory developments relevant to aviation decarbonization, clean fuels, and the broader energy transition
- Close cooperation with internal technical and commercial teams to translate policy developments into strategic insights
- Completed degree in public policy, international affairs, engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in a relevant position
- Strongly committed to climate action and motivated by contributing to the energy transition
- Knowledge clean fuels and their production technologies
- Experience in aviation decarbonization and German or EU policy considered a plus
- Preferably residing in Berlin or the surrounding area with remote work
- Very good written and spoken German and fluent English
