• Conducting project reviews to develop IP strategies in close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as management, engineering, communication and sales departments
• Responsibility for all tasks associated with independent formal processing, from the receipt of invention disclosures to the granting and monitoring of the respective IP rights
• Correspondence with customers, law firms and offices in Germany and abroad in German and English
• Preparation and support of oppositions against third-party property rights and defense of own property rights in cooperation with patent attorneys
• Working closely with other specialist departments and taking on organizational tasks
• Carrying out patent searches
• Participation in or management of license negotiations
• Training or studies, as well as relevant professional experience in the patent field as: Patent paralegal, patent engineer (m/f/d) or similar.
• At least three years of experience in the patent and/or trademark field, in a manufacturing industry: chemical plant engineering, mechanical engineering
• Ideally, you have already worked with patent databases and document management systems (lamlp desirable)
• You are characterized by an independent, structured and responsible working style
• You have excellent communication skills
• Your personality is characterized by reliability, discretion and loyalty
• Very good knowledge of German and English as well as good MS Office skills
