Job Description

- Implementation of the process control engineering task in a team of engineers, and supervision of the entire project duration from the study phase to commissioning as well as taking over the process control engineering planning
- Taking on (sub-) projects and working with different project teams
- Coordination of the specialist departments involved as well as internal and external interface coordination
- Project planning in automation systems and the associated operating and monitoring level in the TIA Portal (desirable: PCS7) and WinCC based on process descriptions
- Specification and selection of PLT components
- Support with the commissioning of control systems and components for our process engineering systems
- Fault clearance, weak point analysis and advice for operators and technicians on all technical and conceptual issues as an expert in automation technology
- Creation, review and consolidation of technical documents and documentation
- A successful academic degree in electrical engineering / automation technology (Diploma, Bachelor or Master)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the automation of systems in the process industry
- Ideally initial experience with TIA Portal (desirable: PCS7) and WinCC in industry
- Good knowledge of measurement technology, sensor technology, industrial bus systems and network technology
- Experience in dealing with R&I and electrical diagrams
- Good IT skills (MS Office package, Outlook and Microsoft Visio)
- Very good German language skills. Good written and spoken English skills are an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
