Role Description

We are seeking a data oriented process or manufacturing engineer to contribute to the development of our first of a kind manufacturing facility. In this role, you will create and manage dashboards to streamline and analyze the production processes of our novel battery technology. Your work will impact all stages of the process, from raw materials/chemicals to final product, while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA location (Greater Pittsburgh Area). Relocation assistance available.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop visualizations, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement within the production process and ensure that targets are met or exceeded
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve production issues
  • Be a key resource for root cause analysis data needs/correlations and statistical analysis resources to the manufacturing production team.
  • Support the implementation and usage of PLM, MES, and ERP systems, as well as other tools related to manufacturing and sustainability
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our manufacturing processes using standard process engineering techniques

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in production engineering or manufacturing
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau, JMP, Power BI, etc)
  • Ability to manage and analyze data via SQL to inform data-driven process improvements
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where changes in design and processes are expected
