We are seeking a Visual Navigation Team Lead to spearhead the development of visual navigation algorithms and tools for autonomous spacecraft operations. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in defining the future of satellite technology while leading a dynamic team of talented engineers.

What success looks like in the first months:

• You led the design, development, and implementation of advanced visual navigation algorithms for spacecraft.
• You managed the development of tools and systems for testing visual navigation capabilities, ensuring readiness for in-orbit demonstration.
• You drove progress on satellite identification and 6DoF pose estimation, achieving key milestones in algorithm performance.
• You effectively managed a small technical team, fostering collaboration and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• You ensured the seamless integration of hardware and software, including cameras and GPUs, into navigation systems.

What you need to succeed

• A degree in computer vision, robotics, or a related field, with over 3 years of experience in visual navigation algorithms for 6DoF pose estimation.
• Deep familiarity with satellite imaging systems and space mission operations.
• Hands-on experience with camera systems, GPU hardware/software, and strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Proven track record of managing and leading small, highly technical teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Fluency in French and English, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• A self-starter mindset, capable of driving projects forward independently in a structured and organized manner.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a passion for solving complex problems.
