About the Role

• Lead in the code for our core product (Data Pipeline), while staying fluent across our other codebases (Importer, User Platform, Admin Panel). Write reference implementations and unblock complex work.
• Shape the architecture of our scalable data pipeline product in close collaboration with senior engineers and the Tech Lead.
• Define and enforce engineering standards (naming, testing, performance, security), short design docs, and ADRs (Architecture Decision Records).
• Add technical requirements to user stories with the PM and ensure Definition of Ready/Done is consistently met.
• Drive code quality through deep reviews, pair programming (regular pair starts), and frequent pull requests.
• Own an engineering-led backlog for technical debt and continuous improvements (pipeline throughput, parsing performance, observability).
• Establish compatibility and release practices for our JavaScript SDKs and public APIs: semantic versioning, deprecation policy, and contract tests.
• Build a reproducible benchmark suite and reliability guardrails (feature flags, safe rollouts, rollback plans).
• Mentor and coach engineers by introducing coding principles, best practices, and architectural thinking into daily work.
• Drive product architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability, and robustness of our services.
