The Role:

Cypress Creek Renewables is seeking a Sr/Financial Analyst who will conduct financial analyses on performance and transactions of CCR’s operating fleet of renewable energy assets. This role will directly report to the Director, Fleet Finance & Analytics and actively partner and collaborate with Asset Managers, corporate FP&A, Structured Finance, and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will come with a passion for clean energy; have growth, value creation and proactive learning mindset; have strong experience in financial modeling and an attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis of key transactions for the Fleet including but not limited to debt refinancing's and tax equity buyouts, repowering/retrofitting and power purchase re-contracting
  • Assist in preparing materials for investment committee, executive and board presentations
  • Build and maintain Fleet’s long-term valuation model and validate all Fleet inputs in the corporate financial model
  • Assist in improving and monitoring Fleet’s liquidity by building dashboards/reports, monitoring Fleet’s cash reserves and LCs for optimized least-cost collateral cover
  • Improve upon existing portfolio management practices and fund waterfall files and processes through automation and data analytics
  • Support annual operating plan and rolling forecasts with Asset Managers
  • Support all corporate and project transactional due diligence; transition of financing/tax equity closing models to asset management and setup of tracking models and partnership yield/flip analyses
  • Assist in monthly operating and KPI reporting and analyses

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent undergraduate degree in a financial discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience working in solar or renewables with an established understanding of industry valuation principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience in financial modeling and analysis; extensive knowledge of Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to translate complex contracted terms into streamlined models
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a very fast-paced environment; flexibility to modify course in real-time in response to fluid facts and circumstances
  • Must be able to work within a team and influence cross-functional effort
  • Ability to travel domestically 10-25%

Location:

  • NYC; Washington, DC, with the ability to go into the office on a hybrid schedule.
