Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.
Crusoe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Engineer to join our growing Project Execution team. This role will focus specifically on the power generation aspects of our large-scale data center projects, encompassing electrical, communication, controls, and mechanical systems. You will play a critical role throughout the lifecycle of the project, supporting engineering execution, construction, completions, commissioning, and turnover.

- Monitor contractor workmanship and adherence to specifications.
- Support commissioning and testing of plant systems to ensure performance and compliance.
- Review commissioning documents for technical and practical acceptance.
- Evaluate lift plans, flush plans, purge plans, and other construction execution planning documents for safety and compliance.
- Coordinate the issuance and response of RFIs and Field Engineering Directives (FEDs).
- Contribute to the development of engineering, construction, and commissioning standards and procedures.
- Stay current on technologies and best practices in power generation and construction management.
- Promote and ensure a safe, collaborative work environment.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in power generation, hydrocarbon, or similar engineering, preferably on large-scale projects.
- EIT or PE preferred.
- Understanding of power generation technologies including turbine, diesel, and natural gas generators, as well as renewable energy sources.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
- Strong project management skills (budgets, schedules, resources).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
Experience with site supervision and construction management. - Data center power/mechanical systems experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed and perform site-based physical requirements (uneven terrain, climbing ladders/scaffolds/stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs, and exposure to varying weather).
- Experience with MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.
- Certifications such as CPC, PMP, or PMI-CP are recommended for career development in this role.
- Must be able to pass a background check..
