About the team
You will be working in our Satellite Systems team as part of our Engineering division. The Satellite Systems team is a multidisciplinary team of experts with the objective to design, manufacture, integrate and test spacecrafts in the most efficient manner using cutting edge technologies and NewSpace processes.
Location - Our Engineering team is based across Europe; we offer remote working within the EU & UK with occasionally travel to our head quarter offices in Germany or Belgium for project work and team gatherings. This position requires you to travel to the supplier premises during AIV/T phases.
The Role
Reporting to the Satellite Systems Lead you will oversee, coordinate and support the AIT campaigns in order to ensure the spacecrafts are correctly tested and validated prior to launch. You will work closely with the rest of the Satellite Systems engineers and AIT team of the suppliers.
As our AIT Engineer, you will be:
- Preparing, writing and reviewing system and subsystem level Test Plans and Procedures.
- Supervising, reviewing and coordinating TRRs, PTRs and TRBs.
- Supervising system and subsystem assembly, integration and testing.
- Supervising, reviewing and coordinating NRBs when needed.
- Coordinating and cooperating with suppliers to optimize AIT activities.
- Providing guidance for AIT tasks, including test setup and execution.
- Participating in AIT activities, providing expertise to resolve potential issues.
- Leading the system and (where applicable) subsystem level V&V, ensuring that testing and results are traced to requirements.
