US Engineering – Plant, Process, Mechanical & Other Disciplines

Climeworks is building our engineering team in the US to design our balance of plant that supports our direct air capture process and process the CO2 for storage. This team comprises of all the required engineering disciplines for process plant design – mechanical, electrical, process, controls, civil, structural and architectural/layout. Your mission is to apply first principles engineering to design the simplest and most efficient CO2 capture and processing DAC plant which can be scaled to megaton capacity and beyond.

All engineering disciplines required to design a gas/chemical processing facility.

- Instrumentation & Controls (DCS)

- Architectural, BIM, Layout, General Arrangement

• You will collaborate with our existing plant engineering team to improve and localize our existing design for the US market and standards.
• You will be involved in all phases of project execution from pre-FEED through to commissioning & start-up.
• You will support, manage and govern our engineering partners and contractors, ensuring an optimized solution that meets specification at the lowest cost.
• Co-location at design firms & EPCs is expected.
• Site presence is expected during construction, commissioning & production ramp.
