Job Description
- Your mission at Climeworks is to enable Direct Air Capture and Storage (DAC+S) projects by developing world-class renewable and low carbon energy supply systems.
- You analyse energy technologies, including definition of technology readiness, commercial maturity, and expected further development.
- You provide internal guidance on worldwide market developments in the renewable energy market.
- You optimize system design of renewable energy generation, excess heat opportunities, as well as energy conversion and energy storage technologies for Climeworks DAC application.
- You develop and maintain a database of worldwide energy resources specific to the needs of Climeworks CDR operations.
- You determine required contracts with local partners, such as renewable energy developers, utilities, etc.
- You also determine major permitting requirements for the realization of all components of the developed, site-specific energy systems and manage grid interconnection processes where applicable.
