Team Lead Software Engineering (m/f/d)

Become part of our Digital Solutions team in Barcelona, where we work in cross-functional and autonomous teams that co-create products and take ownership from idea to impact.

• As the Team Lead Software Engineering, you lead a team of talented and dynamic developers, collaborate with your Product Owner and the UI/UX designers, and report directly to the Head of Engineering based in Munich, Germany
• You are technically and strategically responsible for our Certifiers product as part of our overall mission of providing the most impactful solutions for a sustainable, environment-friendly future
• As a member of the Engineering Leadership team, you are also instrumental in implementing and improving the company’s digital processes and standards
• You show serious leadership skills, best proven with some years of experience at a people-management level
• You’re not only focused on day-to-day tasks but also have a long-term vision of the team and the projects - at the same time, you’re fully aware of the necessity of pragmatism and know when to make a quick decision
• You are an exceptional communicator and able to convey complex technical concepts in simple terms - at the same time, your own team will expect your communication to be open, transparent, and efficient
• You don’t have to be the strongest technical member of the team, nor will you spend 90% of your time on code, but we expect you to possess a deep understanding of software development principles, architecture, and technologies, nonetheless
• You actively seek and incorporate input from all team members, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment
• You value a culture of sharing, kindness, diversity, curiosity, and transparency, and set out to help shape it
• You are an avid learner and continuously improve yourself and your work - you actively help, give feedback and act upon feedback you receive
