Job Description

CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Recruiter to work in the Human Resources Department of CIMMYT.
The position is based at CIMMYT’s campus in Texcoco, State of Mexico, located 45 km northeast of Mexico City, Mexico.
Specific duties:
- Manage all the aspects of the recruitment process from the reception of the requisition to the on-boarding process, primarily for internationally recruited positions globally and locally recruited positions in countries outside Mexico.
- Liaise with the Hiring Manager about the needs of the positions, specifications about publishing and the type of diffusion new need to assure.
- Announce position in CIMMYT’s Website, job boards, universities, institutes, companies or wherever is needed to assure a correct diffusion of the position. Monitor impact throughout the publication.
- Receive, analyze, and provide a long list of candidates to the Selection Committee.
- Conduct all the logistics to allow face to face or online interviews. Provide support to candidates in obtaining migratory documentation, arrange of lodging, transportation, reimbursements or any other process regarding travels and online interviews.
- Request and prepare candidates’ information, personal documentation, references, confirmation of salary expectations, availability to attend interviews.
- Provide candidates’ information to IRS Administration team to prepare salary offer and issue a contract.
- Provide recruitment expertise to all Regional Offices and conduct recruitment processes for Regional offices as requested.
- Monitor assigned Recruitment processes and provide orientation to Regional Offices HR Representatives and Selection Committees regarding the documentation and recruitment process.
- Maintain updated recruitment registers, databases and metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, International Relations, or related administrative areas.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or responsibilities.
- Experience of international recruitments
- User advanced level in the usage of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience in Microsoft Dynamics will represent an advantage.
- Experience in the usage of online meetings and professional social networks such as: Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, LinkedIn, OCC, or any related international job portal.
- Proven experience in recruiting processes from clerical positions to managerial positions.
- Advanced level of English. English will be tested, and candidate should score a minimum of C1 on CEFR.
- The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Communication, Achievement Orientation, Pro-Activity, Multi- Cultural Awareness, Sensitivity and Customer / Client Orientation.
