Lead Impact Scientist (f/d/m)

Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.
We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Impact Scientist (f/d/m). You’ll work closely with our experienced founding team, the impact team and carbon credit projects globally in a very fast-moving and VC-funded startup.

• Positioning CEEZER and yourself as thought leaders in ClimateTech and on the voluntary carbon market
• Establish strong ties to institutions, academia, and climate-related networks
• Work closely with a diverse set of carbon-generating projects globally
• Support demand-side customers navigating the voluntary carbon market
• Conduct research on the voluntary carbon market, use our proprietary and public data to create insights and make predictions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve our product offering such as portfolio optimization algorithms
• 5+ years of relevant experience within academia, think tanks, or within the carbon market
• Excellent academic record in sustainability, climate studies, or related with a preference for PhD holders
• Strong skills in quantitative research & in data analysis and navigate statistics with ease
• Exceptional analytical skills and work with strong rigor and attention to detail
• Ability to successfully communicate complex topics geared toward heterogeneous target groups
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
