Sales Development Manager - (F/M/X) - Remote/Hybrid - Greentech/Carbon Removal

Your role & responsibilities

As a Sales Development Manager, you play a critical role in building the top of our sales funnel by identifying, qualifying and contacting carbon removal buyers. You apply your effective hustle and prospecting throughout our worldwide target markets. You will work as part of a commercial team, home on both sides of the Atlantic, and work closely with the marketing and communication, origination, and product teams.

What you'll do

  • Prospect new potential leads, including contact information, sourcing, definition and implementation of B2B outbound campaigns.
  • Outreach to potential leads, using all channels you consider promising and effective.
  • Qualify and nurture leads to a level where you can pass them smoothly on to a Sales Manager in (y)our team
  • Track your progress in a way that is easy to follow and makes pure reporting meetings largely superfluous.
  • Help grow our understanding of our clients’ pains and wishes, leveraging these learnings to help our product and communications teams continuously transform and strengthen our offerings.

What you bring to the table

  • You have a track record of successful Sales Development and a high tolerance for environments that are ambiguous and dynamic - you can tap into your adaptability to navigate the needs of a fast-growing startup within the complex carbon removal industry.
  • You love people, emphasize and listen naturally.
  • You have a strong bias to action and are perseverant.
  • You are a creative problem-solver and effective in opening doors that seemed closed.
  • You communicate skilfully and engagingly, verbally and written.
  • You have a great command of English and German. French or Spanish are a plus.
