Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and creative Board Design Engineer with excellent interpersonal skills to join the Electronics team.
This role includes full ownership of electronic boards as well as hands-on system-level integration, testing, cabling, and support across all Beewise product generations.

🌍 At Beewise, we’re on a mission to save the world — one bee at a time.
With bee populations in global decline, we develop cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of robotics, AI, and environmental science to protect pollinators and preserve biodiversity.

We’re a team of engineers, scientists, and innovators using technology for good — shaping the future of sustainable agriculture.
If you’re looking for meaningful impact through innovation, we’d love to have you on board.

What You'll Do

  • Take full ownership of electronic board design: electrical specifications, schematic design, component selection, PCB layout definition, bring-up, validation, and release to manufacturing
  • Perform hands-on integration: system debugging, cabling design, electrical harnessing, and troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, and mechanical domains
  • Design mixed-signal and power circuits (motors, drivers, sensors, protection circuits, DC/DC converters)
  • Define stack-up and collaborate with PCB vendors on DFM/DFT and EMC-aware design
  • Work closely with firmware, mechanics, system, product, and operations throughout the design lifecycle
  • Support production, testing, and continuous improvement of released boards
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and consultants during design and development phases

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of end-to-end board design experience (schematics → layout → bring-up → production)
  • Experience designing multilayer PCBs with mixed-signal and power circuits
  • Strong practical understanding of return paths, differential routing, grounding strategies, noise reduction, and EMC best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, lab debugging, oscilloscopes, and electrical validation tools
  • Experience with MCUs (preferably ST/STM32), sensors, communication buses (I2C, UART, RS485), and motor control (stepper / BLDC)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Advantages

  • Experience with EMI/EMC design and compliance processes
  • Familiarity with solar-based power systems
  • Experience with harness design and system-level integration
  • Embedded knowledge for working closely with firmware (ST HAL, drivers, peripherals)
